Most large towns will have a tavern. In some towns, they are very prominent, and are the center of the social life in a town. The dwarves in Kazordoon are well known for their beer and wine, and the tavern can be found right next to the depot, but the women in Carlin have outlawed the consumption of alcohol, and the only tavern in town is hiding in the sewers.
Many Food Shopkeeper NPCs can be found in a tavern selling a variety of liquids.
